Orientation and Training

“Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are My disciples.” John 13:35

All volunteers are required to complete the mandatory Volunteer Orientation and Training before beginning in a volunteer role and becoming active in ministry. This ensures that every volunteer is prepared to be of service to God, the Church, and their parish community.

All volunteers are required to:

  1. Review the Archdiocese Volunteer Guidelines and Code of Conduct
  2. Complete Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) training
  3. Complete Ontario Human Rights Commission training (OHRC)
  4. Complete additional ministry-specific training through the Pastor, ministry leaders or Volunteer Screening Coordinator

Test Got questions? Please contact your local parish and speak with a screening coordinator to learn more about becoming a volunteer.
